Where I ramble and tell complete strangers about my life. It will probably include knitting.

Oh dear, it has been a long time.

Whoops, I haven't posted for a bit, but I'm full of good excuses.
Excuse No. 1 - We moved! Mr b^3, Betsy and I have moved from our too big, freezing cold town house that was a half hour drive from the city to a snug, little two bedroom apartment that is close enough that we can walk in every morning, even when it's raining, it's not really to far. Of course you ask, new place has only two bedrooms, where will bably go? Well, the plan is that Betsy will move again to her own place in the summer probably. And if that doesn't work, the cot fits in our room fine, so that will work for a bit. Along with the moving goes -

Excuse No. 2 - Telstra hates us! We are not so crazy as to actually sign up for net access with Telstra, we tend to stick to suppliers who's prices won't make you laugh. However the exchange and the lines are Telstra's so we kind of have to depend on them to get everything plugged in right. Which never happens. Last move it took 4 weeks to get it sorted out. This move we thought it would be fine as we just transfered the connection from the owners of our new place (who just moved out) to us. Simple right? Apparently not and it looks like we've been plugged in wrong again. So patchy net access only when I'm at uni and remember, which leads to -

Excuse No. 3 - I have a major case of pregnancy brain. Funny story from the move, I was packing all of the breakable stuff in newspaper to move it all. I picked up a vase, threw out the old flowers that were in it, wrapped it in newspaper and put it in the crate, not remembering that if the vase had flowers it it, it probably also was full of water. Not exactly a deadly mistake, but man am I ever absent minded these days.

These should be enough to explain why I haven't posted in a while.

Now the news. Morning sickness is getting better, for which I am thankful. I'm not actually throwing up anymore and the retching is probably down to about 3-4 times a day. This makes work a lot more bearable, which is good, since I have to work 10 hours a week to keep my part-time status. We went to see the OB, a real one this time. Turns out that my fertility specialist/gynocologyst doesn't practice as an OB, so we got a referal to go see a real one. Everything is fine, don't need to see him for another six weeks. Ohh, and I'm just beginning to be able to feel my uterus. I'm not exactly showing yet, kinda 'cause I'm not what you'd call slim, but some action should be happening in that department soon. Biggest news is that I'm almost at 12 weeks, 11 weeks and 3 days today.

Thats it, have to run to a lecture.
