Where I ramble and tell complete strangers about my life. It will probably include knitting.

Young and mildly mad.

I was going to post some pictures of my current knitting projects, but I can't seem to get my computer to upload the pictures in anything like a reasonable amount of time. Brilliant for an IT student isn't it. So instead, I'm going to do 100 things about me, because I always like reading other peoples. I'll spread it out over a few days though, I'm not sure I can think of them all at once.
1. I was born in August 1983.
2. I was married in November 2003.
3. My current name is the fourth incarnation I've had.
4. Before we were married, both my husband and I had to formally change our names, because the ones we were living with
weren't the ones on our birth certificates, but we wanted our current names on our marriage certificate.
5. I am a Christian of the Baptist variety.
6. I have a world outlook that's a bit more liberal than my church though.
7. 2006 will be the last year of my undergraduate degree.
8. It will have taken me six years to get that degree.
9. It was supposed to be a three year degree.
10. When I finish though, I intend to enrol at a different uni to get my Dip. Ed in maths and IT.
11. A teacher is the fourth career I have wanted to have since I started uni.
12. I'm pretty sure I've got it right this time though.
13. For some odd reason, it was important to me that my husband was older than me.
14. My husband is 7 weeks older than me, and it's only that much because he was a preemie.
15. My full maiden name was longer than the alphabet.
16. I had the shortest name of my siblings.
17. My married surname is shorter than my first name.
18. It pleases me no end to be able to sign my name in under 30 seconds.
19. I have a younger brother and sister.
20. I love to knit.
21. I love to sew.
22. I love to crotchet.
23. I learnt to crotchet from the internet.
24. I prefer to use a Macintosh computer.
25. I find it easier to talk about my choice in computer than my faith.

That should about do for the list today. As for what I have been doing, I went to IKEA on Saturday. This is momentous because it involved a three hour drive to Sydney and a three hour drive back, but we spent nearly three hours there and it was wonderful. We decided to go pretty much that morning, though we'd been talking about going for a while. It was fun, being mad and impulsive while we are young and childfree.
Tomorrow (If I get to the computer) list 26-50!
